Fixed. Oh, and to post pics like this [Frenzy], just put the skill's name between []. So Frenzy would look like [Frenzy].

Seeing anything posted with [signet of midnight] invokes terrible flashbacks.

just..no. especially not with a superior rune. superior runes in any sort of pvp are bad.

Need some kind of self heal in RA, even [Ether Feast] would do. Drop the sup rune, drop your fast casting down to 9, raise inspiration to 9, drop overload or demise for ether feast.

SoM use to be common in RA / TA (and really OP), but fell out of use when it was nerfed with the 2s activation. I think you could probably still play it if you plan ahead with your blinds rather than using them reactivity, but I'd basically just play the old build with manta of resolve. Also, major runes are the most you want to run expecially on a bar like this where every player will want to gank you.

Faced a signet of midnight mesmer a couple of nights ago. Fortunately, I was able to vanquish him running a symbolic strike axe warrior (I'm such a symbolic strike fanboy...) This build is also on pvx, I think, but I'm still the only one I've ever seen run it for some reason. Surely, this isn't sign that the skill sucks, is it!? Anyway, this Build is probably stronger than the SoJ warrior I posted before (and again on the bottom of this post), since this bar kind of has "2 elites" that a warrior might actually want to have on the same bar, though I do miss the purge signet I had replaced healsig with on the old SoJ wamo bar sometimes.
[build prof=warrior/ranger axe=14 str=9 tactics=11][dismember][symbolic strike][antidote signet][disciplined stance][primal rage][healing signet][bull's strike][resurrection signet][/build]
Okay, it has 3 defensive skills, and one of them is the world-famous underachieving healing signet. Worst case though, it's still basically a 6-slot skill bar with effectively 2 elites (symbolic strike is cleave, but actually better). Though honestly, antidote signet will often be pretty useful (especially vs SoM mes, yeah?), and sometimes healing signet can even pull its own weight and help lead to a win you'd otherwise not have gotten (but only because RA is pretty stupid like that). Disciplined Stance is also nice as your cancel, since you can just use primal as your IMS, and it really helps out vs the constant linebacking you have to put up with from palm strike sins and honor-seeking wamos, who desperately try to mildly irritate you long enough that you might attack through their dual ripostes. Also, Dstance lets you use your signets (such as the best signet on your bar: ressig) without having to worry so much about dchop or dshot. You don't have any interrupts, which is unfortunate, but you do still have bull's strike and with primal rage + a buffed up cleave chain, you can at least do a ton of damage and pretty much never be kited effectively. This build hits pretty hard and hits very often
Also, you can replace healsig with other rubbish like signet of stamina, signet of strength, or poison tip signet. :P
I tried getting this bar to work too, but I don't think it suits me as well:
[build prof=warrior/mesmer][dismember][symbolic strike][Leech signet][rush][primal rage][Signet of Distraction][bull's strike][resurrection signet][/build]
Kind of like a power spike warrior. I never liked power spike warriors, so the fact that I didn't really like this bar makes some sense I guess. If you were to run a power spike + primal rage warrior though, you might be able to run this instead. depends on if you feel giving up your attack-based interrupt is worth it to get body blow for 3 less adren. I tend to think it is. But again, I don't really like power spike wars much, and don't think I'm alone in that regard. If you [i]do[i] like running ranged interrupts like power spike on warriors though, this is probably worth a shot.
Not entirely sure about atts for this build... Don't think it's worth putting much (if anything) into inspiration. You don't really need the energy much. But whether it's worth investing into dom is where I'm not sure. You could get 10 domination and run 9 strength for a 12 second disable... but I think it might do its disable for only that 12 seconds instead of as an addition to the normal recharge (power lock used to do the same thing, but they did at least fix that skill), and giving up your strength bonus in that case starts to look even less attractive than it might otherwise. It takes away some damage AND likely means you'll lose half your shield's armor if you get weakness.
Also, there's always the classic SoJ wamo I posted many pages back...
[build prof=w/mo axe=14 str=13 smite=3][dismember][symbolic strike][signet of judgment][rush][frenzy][purge signet][bull's strike][resurrection signet][/build]
(I am writing a book about symbolic strike warriors, btw. Thanks for asking. It should be released about the same time guild wars 2 comes out...)
ps edit: Actually, I did meet another war using antidote, healsig, and ressig once. He had Executioner's Strike though

i tested a W/P in RA i kind of liked it
but warriors dont use spears...:P
[W/P;OQkjEtl8pN/Yg8QuIzX/rrFBAA]
could have higher dmg output with a normal warrior. this worked decent for supporting team and still do some dmg.

Just thinking this could be fun...
I call it "The Rezzer" (your job is not healing, but rezzing, there is a difference ya know)
[Mist Form][Armor of Mist][Shard Storm][Frozen Burst][Water Attunement][Frigid Armor][Healing Breeze][Restore Life]
Water Magic 12+1+1
Healing Prayers 10
Energy Storage 8+1
Yeah... its crap...
I realize that this could also work with Earth / Prot (probably), but I just had to do something with mist form, seemed a shame to let it got to waste.
Basically, you kite around people while keeping a buff up AT ALL TIMES to lower damage and Healing Breeze to make sure you heal most of your damage anyways. Mist Form is for spikes or when you need the regen from Healing Breeze. You also have some capability to do anti-melee and you can choose to ditch an armor for more of those goodies if you so desire.
This idea came after I realized that healing is boring so why not just rez all the time? I mean, it gets rid of all there conditions and as long as you survive you can rez.
Possible variants: (same idea, different classes)
E/Mo (Earth)
Mo/W (Prot)
R/Mo (All those cool stances that block stuff and give you run speed)
W/Mo (Defy Pain ftw)
Rits are also a viable option, but sense your job is to always be able to give good rezes, I didn't really want to use Death Pact Signet or Flesh of My Flesh (seemed... meh)

Had some fun yesterday with this:
Smite: 12+1+1
Tactics: 9
Divine Favor: 9+1
[Reversal of damage][Castigation Signet][Spear of Light]["You're all alone!"][Smite Hex][Smite Condition][Disciplined Stance][Resurrection Signet]
Usage is pretty straightforward, the hard part comes from abuse from your teammates when they think your sole purpose on this earth is to heal their sorry ass, but meh.

Yeah every time smiting has something fun it gets nurfed (mantra of inscriptions, Smiters boon). While I'm aware why they're nurfed I still find it a shame sometimes because there's some interesting skills in the smiting line.
Usually a skill like Bane Signet suffers from recharge, but it's fun to time it well on an attacking foe so he gets KD AND his initial attack skill gets interrupted. Same with spear, a nice skill to punish PR and frenzy warrrs IF you use it wisely. RoD must be timed well to catch a big attack and not a wand attack instead, and etc etc etc.
Guess it's back to slapping sticky hexes on physicals, meh curse necros are as boring as they're effective.

[strike as one][gash][scavenger strike][savage slash][apply poison][tigers fury][comfort animal][charm animal]
Beast mastery = 9+2+1
Swordsmanship = 11
Expertise = 10+1
Wilderness survival = 4+1
Yea i know i'm out of rez (maybe switch tiger's for it), but the pressure is high
If you dont like gash, switch to axe mastery and take dismember instead.
